Watching the highlight relay and how aespa’s concept photos for Unbeatable Beat recreated the æs outfits and their robotic/techno futuristic identity, I wondered if Whiplash (the song or whole EP) will be from the æs perspective. I got reminded of a theory video I watched by Choujimi talking about how it’ll be interesting to explore the æs perspective and how they see themselves as a distinct ‘version’ of a real human being, and how that would shape their psyche. Any thoughts? I don’t think aespa the members themselves have spoken about this.
