At the primary stage of aespa lore there was a concept of synk dive, which meant "synchronization of one's consciousness with (at that period) a virtual avatar counterpart". Actually each aespa member and her ae-aespa counterpart transform for some time into one person.
Now it seems that aespa returns to that concept again, but it is darker and sinister this time. After the contact with hippogriff aespa members begin to mutate, acquiring some outer demonic features of this hippogriff (Ningning – wings, Winter – claws, Giselle – tail, Karina – those spikes on her arms). We’ve seen it on promophotos, now we see it in “Make It Lemonade” video. Don’t caress hippogriff 🙂
But these changes are not purely physical. Closer to the end of the video after the downfall through the hole we see a picture of what can be defined as a nervous system, only in lemonade colours. You can compare it if you want with this https://www.livescience.com/22665-nervous-system.html
So the consciousness (=nervous system) of each member is synchronized with the consciousness of this eerie creature.
It reminds me also of “Better Things” MV where Winter and Giselle are capable of seeing through the eye of the fish that swallowed them. Also may be a kind of “synk dive”.
