The fourth track on the album, <Can’t Help Myself> is a slow rock jam that highlights the group’s singing and their registers, especially Karina’s unique huskiness that some people characterize it as a ‘divorce voice’.
While easy to sing along, and some arrangement tricks to keep listeners interested, I felt the song was a bit repetitive in form.
Overall I rate it 4.3/5🍋. Is this the strongest b-side? I would love to see this the next time they performed with a live band.
If you want to hear more of Karina, she sings it as the last song (https://youtu.be/iKIOF_yILRU?is=0VFMIYmxCYhwGprz)
