I am a student currently conducting an academic study for my research paper regarding how K-pop companies' transmedia storytelling (fictional universes/lore) affects international fans' consumer behavior and helps overcome cultural or language barriers.
To gather empirical data, I have designed a short, straightforward survey. It compares the fandom experiences of lore-heavy groups (like aespa, ENHYPEN, etc.) versus non-lore/concept-focused groups (like SEVENTEEN, IVE, NewJeans, etc.).
Since aespa is the most iconic and prime example of this topic, I really need the valuable insights of MYs to complete my empirical data and prove the power of aespa's universe academically!
